This fabulous small business based in Telford started in 2019 with a crowdfunder project.

Keli King owner of The Little Green Pantry was passionate about bringing plastic free shopping to Telford as no such store existed. Since starting she has run pop up stalls in multiple locations to build up a solid customer base, all whom bring along their containers to get filled with dry foods or cleaning products.

Keli has built relationships with a number of other like-minded businesses throughout the region and alongside the standard pastas, grains, nuts and seeds, she provides an outlet for sales of locally made eco-friendly products. These include beeswax food wraps made from Alison at Alison’s Bee Class and reusable wipes and personal products from Crafty Mrs B.

She has also supported the newly opened up Our Green Shop in Bridgnorth by supplying them with items to fill their shelves ready for opening.

Throughout the pandemic, pop up stalls haven’t been feasible, so Keli has been offering a free delivery service throughout Telford. Price lists are available on her facebook page.

Products are brought to your doorstep and put into your own containers, all at a social distance. So if you are Telford based and looking to reduce your plastic consumption, take a look at The Little Green Pantry and give them a try.
