Telford and Wrekin Council launch a new Seeds4TW project, promoting the collection and planting of tree seeds through the borough.

As part of the Sustainable Telford and Wrekin project, a new webpage has been set up and launched to help promote borough residents to get involved in planting trees for the future.

In line with the Tree Council’s National Tree Week, this initiative is a great way to get the whole family involved in nature and have a positive long term environmental impact.

Trees have excellent benefits to health and wellbeing, the local environment and the wider world by reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

To get involved, head over to the Sustainable Telford and Wrekin website where you can find a step by step guide to collecting seeds you find in your local area.
