In this beautiful county we are lucky to have an array of local businesses who are passionate about reducing their impact on the planet and encouraging their customers to follow suit. However, even for those of us who are constantly looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint, many of these small businesses elude us. The established corporate brands with extensive marketing budgets and larger administrative staffing teams often have a much stronger advertising presence in our day to day lives.

So we thought it was time to start helping out our local businesses. The Mossy Directory has been launched to support all things eco and local. Whether it is a refill shop, a Vegan cafe, a reusable rental service or even just a long standing village tearoom who has introduced the Shrewsbury Cup in a bid to reduce waste. The directory is not just for purely Zero Waste businesses, but also for those who are trying to take a step in the right direction.

As well as stores and online shops, it includes community groups, recycling projects, local education services, days out where you can connect with nature, plus many more useful listings.

Basic listings are FREE to all eligible businesses!

For businesses who are keen to reach a wider audience we will also offer featured listings later in the year for a small fee. This fee will go back into running the site so we can continue to provide useful info, tips and news for our community.
