Transition Wilmslow

Transition Wilmslow is a community group in Wilmslow, Cheshire, aiming to make our patch of the planet a more beautiful place. We are working together on climate change, biodiversity, and health and wellbeing initiatives in Wilmslow and surrounding area.

We want to help build a community where people join together to help grow food, plant trees and support biodiversity; where everyone feels safe walking and cycling, where we reduce our dependence on fossil fuels through insulating our homes and businesses, and where possible generating power from nature, and where our peat bogs and woodlands are restored to become the carbon sinks we so desperately need to tackle climate change.
