Who What Why

Transition Northwich is part of the global network making positive changes to care for local and global environments and build thriving, happy communities.

We are a volunteer led charity. Everyone is welcome to share ideas and help in practical ways.
Where do you meet? We garden and grow food at Rod’s Secret Community Garden behind Sainsbury’s and the Dane Valley Community Orchard in Rudheath. We do pop up events in other locations! We meet Covid safely and online too.
On the 3rd Monday of each month we meet to discuss ideas and also talk to our local MP and Town Councilors to shape decisions in the town. We currently meet at the Quayside Pub at the top of Witton Street at 7pm.
We support other local community groups who want to adopt the Transition ethos or use our community gardens for events. We share information about environmental issues so we can learn more about the problems that affect us all and find out about solutions.
