Market Drayton Climate Action

Group that aims to welcome people in Market Drayton and the surrounding areas and enable them to take climate action. We work to raise awareness in our local community, supporting people and organisations to take action to reduce their carbon footprint in the ways that they can. We welcome everyone to join us whether they’ve never been involved before or have been involved in environmentalism for decades.

We meet once a month in person in Market Drayton as a whole group and have sub groups for transport, responsible consumption, community action and lobbying which meet either in person or on zoom depending on what group members prefer. We appreciate that people have lots of other commitments, so group members contribute what they can. Any questions please get in touch- we’d love to hear from you.
