Who What Why
A relaxing, semi off-grid campsite, with spacious pitches in picturesque north Herefordshire. Your perfect ‘Escape to the Country’.
We are a small family campsite of just 10 pitches set out over 6.5 acres of glorious farmland on our 35 acre smallholding.
With a dedicated campervan pitch and a pre-erected five metre bell tent, the remaining pitches are divided between the Meadow – a gently sloping five acre field with pitches mown into long grass (ideal for families) and a separate, more secluded, 1.5 acre wild flower meadow – The Quarry. As the name suggests, here, the land is more undulating and with a stream in one corner, ideal for paddling.
The entire site is surrounded by ancient hedgerows and woodland. Guests are welcome to wander around the remainder of the holding where as well as sheep, you will find panoramic views in a westerly direction towards mid-Wales.
Wander and explore: You can walk or cycle directly from the site, or a short drive away are three lovely market towns; Leominster, Bromyard and Tenbury Wells. Each have a range of independent shops and cafés. There’s lots to do and see in the area, suiting all ages. Slightly further away are the Malvern Hills an AONB.
Facilities: There are both flushing and compost toilets, hot showers and a covered food prep and washing up area. Each pitch comes with a campfire (with complimentary firewood to get you started) and a picnic table. The campsite is car free – vehicles are parked at the top of the Meadow just a short walk from the pitches.
We are a new site for 2021. Minimum two nights stay for camping and three nights for the bell tent. Sorry but due to the close proximity of livestock we can not accept dogs.
