Teach A Trade have partnered with Telford College to offer West Midlands and Shropshire based engineers a chance to become qualified air source heat pump engineer.

Through the delivery of a 5 day training programme engineers will learn the principles of air source heat pumps, and how to safely install, test, commission, service and repair them. In addition a mental health qualification will be incorporated helping to combat the stresses of loan working.

At the end of the course participants will be able to achieve LCL Awards: Level 3 award in the installation and maintenance of heat pump systems and Level 2 in understanding mental health first aid and mental health advocacy in the workplace.

This course is funded for people currently employed and working within the industry. For full details and eligibility see the Telford Colleges website.
