Save Our Shropshire will be running workshops across Telford and Wrekin in 2023 to show you how to “save the planet” and reduce your monthly expenditure – now and way into the future. We will show you how to save hundreds of £’s per year through actions which will provide warm homes, better food, and cheaper ways to travel, which reduce your “carbon footprint”.

Tackling climate change means we must change how we travel, insulate our homes, use energy, buy stuff, and the food we eat. Human beings do not like change. In the current cost-of-living crisis, many people see that their priority lies with saving money, rather than worrying about saving the planet. Saving polar bears is all very well, but it does not put food on the table.

Come along to these workshops to learn why it is urgent to save the planet, but more importantly to save you money. It will not cost the earth! The events have been sponsored by the Telford and Wrekin Climate Change fund.
