Join us for a forage through the local woods, collecting the best of Autumn foliage then returning to a wonderful display of local Shropshire cut flowers chosen by Nettie of the Gorge.
Using the season’s best you will learn the art of the spiral technique, creating your very own spectacular hand tie arrangement. You will learn how to condition and care for your flowers in a fun and informal environment hosted by ‘Nettie’.
All fresh materials will be provided, including refreshments.
Please bring with you:
• An apron
• Bag for foraging
• A vase if you wish to transport your arrangement home in water

Severn Gorge Countryside Trust
This workshop is being hosted by the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust, a local charity.
The Trust’s aim is to promote, protect and conserve the living landscape of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, which has a diverse range of habitats, including wildflower meadows, woodlands and heathlands. But that’s not all! We maintain over 20 kilometres of footpaths, conserve and protect 60 historic structures, run exciting Outdoor Learning and Volunteering Programmes to encourage local people and visitors to engage with the natural environment in a variety of ways.
All proceeds from this workshop will support the work of the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust.
