Great Big Green Week

The Dane Valley Great Big Green Week 2023 will be taking place from Saturday 10th to Sunday 18th June.

There will be an information stall at Wincle Brewery where we will:

• Provide information about our tree planting activities
• Share how to get involved in the next tree planting season
• Show other ways to help protect nature and the fightback against climate change

There will also be activities and competitions for younger people.

About the Great Big Green Week:

Each year, communities across the country come together for the Great Big Green Week.

The Great Big Green Week brings together people from every corner of the country to celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change.

There are events ranging from art installations, to concerts, to community stalls, to climate cafes, and everything in between. Last year over 5,000 events took place to celebrate how communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect and restore green spaces.
