A leading UK recycling company which has received ongoing support from Telford & Wrekin Council is continuing to go from strength-to-strength after landing an internationally-recognised accolade.

AO Recycling, based at Halesfield 15, Telford has received The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for demonstrating high health and safety standards.

It is the latest in a string of accolades for AO Recycling, including WEELABEX certification from the WEELABEX organisation which has a set of standards for the collection, transport and recycling of e-waste.

AO is now one of the UK’s biggest recyclers of fridges and also aims to be one of the UK’s most efficient recyclers of Major Domestic Appliances (MDA).”
